August

August was a crazy month, Jaycee turned 11 but she did not get to have a party at home because we spent the whole week at the Summit County Fair. Broc rode a calf at the Little Buckaroo Rodeo I think it surprised him when he got bucked off, hopefully he wants to do it again but I dodn't know if that will happen. Jaycee had fun handing out the prizes for the little sheep riders, they were so dang cute!!!! She did a wonderful job at the grand entries and being on PCTV for an interview. We took the lambs down and weighed them in, the kids done a great job with their animals and were glad to sell them. Now they can do their books and stuff to actually get their checks, I think I will let them spend a bit and save the rest for when they get older. Thanks to the New West Country Store (Vern), Webster Construction (Rusty) and Grandma and Grandpa Atkinson for buying the lambs and supporting the kids at the fair. School started and I am so glad. Broc is in 2nd, Jaycee in 6th, and Riley in 9th. Riley is playing freshman football, so it will be fun to go to the high school and watch him play.
